Welcome to Wynyard Estate Saffron. My name is Graham. My partner Wendy and I (plus our four dogs - Stella, Milo, Jazz and Baz) have been growing Saffron in Central Otago since 2012.
I hold a Ph.D in Botany and trained at the highest ranked Agricultural University in the world - University of California Davis. Wendy is a chef by trade and produces all the amazing Saffron recipes that you can try. Visit our Facebook Page to find out more.
Wynyard Estate Saffron (Est 2012)
We love our home here in the Teviot Valley, Central Otago, and we are thrilled to be able to share our Saffron journey with you. What better way to learn about this exotic spice Saffron, but coming to us and learning about how we grow, process, and produce our products. We are a Premium Grade 1 Saffron producer, grading each harvest season since 2015. We also hold our National Programme 3 through Ministry of Primary Industries , as we are serious about the quality of our Saffron, food safety , and the beautiful products we make for you.
